This Louisville – Rutgers game is AWESOME!

I’m not sure this is so much a Louisville letdown as it is Rutgers just rising to the occasion. They kept the game close enough in the first half, even with the special teams mishaps, and then just played smothering defense in the 2nd half.

The Rutgers students just rushed onto the field with 1 second left in the game. Can’t say I blame them, as they will most likely NEVER have a game like this to celebrate again. Last play, and fittingly this game ends on a sack. Wow, what a game!

Oh man, they just panned to Schiano coming of the sideline. He stopped, crossed his arms, watched the students on the field, and flashed a satisfied smile. Drink it in coach, you deserve this moment.

Lions WR Roy Williams says the following about Jon Kitna:

Let’s do a quick count off the top of my head: Carson Palmer, Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Donovan McNabb, Michael Vick, Matt Hasselback, Philip Rivers, Drew Brees, Trent Green, Marc Bulger, Eli Manning…and I’m sure that is leaving off quite a few good players. Hey, I like Kitna, and I think he is a decent player. Best in the league? Uh, no.
