holy crap. on the fly…. how deep is that probably around 300 ft. I guess the ole 1 hop plan so the cut-off man can cut it if need be doesn’t apply for a guy that can fly it on a rope like that. I saw him gun down a couple poor saps at third when he first came over and have been a believer ever since.
that was one of them, my favorite.. why would he run “when I was going to throw him out.” flat stud is right. I used to think Mondesi had a cannon. he does, but not in that league.

I’m not sure that throw wasn’t low enough to be cut off. Laser beam.
One of those poor saps was Terrence Long in what was my first “Ichiro is a flat stud” moment.
